Esigenze

L’attento e costante rispetto dell’ambiente e la necessità di trovare nuove forme di risparmio per far fronte ai crescenti costi energetici, ha portato l’azienda a scegliere Power Ventures come partner per la gestione degli aspetti energetici e tecnologici dei prodotti derivati, come i Certificati Bianchi.

Power Ventures, dopo aver progettato e realizzato l’impianto di trigenerazione alimentato a gas naturale, ne sta effettuando la manutenzione e la gestione completa in un’ottica di partnership di lungo periodo.

Inoltre l’impianto di trigenerazione contribuisce alla riduzione delle emissioni clima-alteranti di CO2 ed al raggiungimento degli obbiettivi del protocollo di Kyoto “20-20-20”.

Soluzione

L’impianto di trigenerazione ad alto rendimento installato presso l’azienda produce simultaneamente energia elettrica, energia termica ed energia frigorifera mediante l’utilizzo di motori endotermici alimentati a gas naturale. La produzione di energia termica è resa possibile da appositi scambiatori di calore per il recupero dell’energia contenuta nell’acqua delle camicie, nell’acqua di raffreddamento del circuito intercooler e nei gas di scarico di ciascun motore.

La produzione di energia frigorifera è resa possibile da una macchina ad assorbimento.

L’impianto di trigenerazione soddisfa una parte del fabbisogno elettrico e la quasi totalità del fabbisogno di acqua calda, acqua fredda e olio diatermico durante le ore di produzione.

Dettagli impianto:

  • gruppo elettrogeno Waukesha APG1000 alimentato a gas naturale;
  • potenza elettrica nominale di 1.000 kWe e l’energia prodotta viene impiegata nei processi produttivi del Cliente;
  • potenza termica nominale pari a 1.140 kWt: durante tutto l’anno i gas di scarico vengono utilizzati per il riscaldamento dell’olio diatermico del Cliente per uso di processo con una potenza pari a circa 260 kWt e per i mesi invernali per ottenere acqua calda per il riscaldamento ambientale con una potenza pari a circa 130 kWt. Nei mesi l’energia termica recuperata dai circuiti di raffreddamento motore e dai gas di scarico viene utilizzata per alimentare una macchina frigorifera ad assorbimento ottenendo energia frigorifera sotto forma di acqua fredda a circa 12°C per utilizzo di processo per una potenza complessiva di circa 460 kWf.

Tecnologia utilizzata

La totale energia elettrica prodotta viene utilizzata nei processi produttivi del Cliente.
Dal recupero dei circuiti di raffreddamento delle camicie del motore, dal circuito di raffreddamento dell’olio e dell’intercooler viene prodotta acqua calda, mentre dai gas di scarico viene riscaldato l’olio diatermico nel primo stadio termico e ulteriore acqua calda nel secondo stadio termico. L’energia termica prodotta dall’impianto viene impiegata nel processo produttivo dello stabilimento per usi di riscaldamento.
